'Minuano'*:South Wind...Suden Wind...Vent Sud...Viento Sur

Estava muito frio
mas,eu gostava de olhar a lua
clareando o campo e a lagoa.
Alguém sentou a meu lado,
não me importei em saber quem era,
não estava interesssado.
Porém...de repente
ouvi uma voz macia
que falava sobre Caxias,
seus feitos na História,
sua vida,sua glória.
Bento Gonçalves também revive:
'Precisamos de um Estado livre'.
Toma,então,uma resolução:
'Façamos a Revolução'!
Canabarro,agora,aparece.
O espírito Farroupilha cresce.
Todo o exército a seu comando,
a Revolução vai se alastrando.
A luta dura dez anos,
muitas perdas,muitos danos.
Mesmo assim se ouvia em toda a coxillha:
'Viva a Revolução Farroupilha'!
Só,então,pude ver
quem estava a meu lado.
Ele vem aqui durante o ano,
mas,nunca conversa,
por que agora...comigo?
Era ele: o Minuano.
A noite passou depressa
Já está amanhecendo...
É isso! Agora lembro...
Este é o amanhecer do dia 20 de setembro!
